Michael Powell, a future professional from Paul Mitchell the School Gastonia, was chosen on behalf of the Paul Mitchell Schools National Design Team to perform his amazing cutting skills on stage in front of the thousands in attendance. Michael is one of ten future professionals that were  chosen from the network of 100+ Paul Mitchell Schools nationwide. He will have the opportunity to work with the top global artistic Directors in our industry and showcase his talents on stage as a platform artist.  Michael is an example of a true visionary and how his passion and hard work led him to this opportunity in his career path. After graduation, Michael will receive a scholarship to continue his education within our Paul Mitchell family to become a licensed learning leader.

Bryce Carey, Makeup Specialist and Design Team Leader at Paul Mitchell the School Gastonia, was chosen to work with the National Makeup Team for John Paul Mitchell Systems at Signature Gathering. As a future professional at Paul Mitchell the School Gastonia, Bryce had a passion for creating makeup magic at hair and runway shows. Because of his rich background in the beauty industry and the skill level he possesses this dream has now became a reality. Bryce is super excited to have the opportunity to see his hard work pay off on the National stage at the Gathering. Bryce is always striving to be a mentor for our future professionals, this will allow him to bring back his experience to share with the future professionals and staff members.
